We held our annual Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation Dinner on 27 February, at the Dorchester London, and once again it was a fantastic evening and a huge success – raising over £185,000 on the night. We will use this money to support local charities such as the Trussell Trust, Fareshare and Magic Breakfast.
It has been another successful year for the Stop Hunger Foundation, raising over £450,000 to tackle hunger and malnutrition in the UK and Ireland.
Our charity partners, FareShare and Trussell Trust, have joined Tesco for their annual neighbourhood food collection.
Sodexo teamed up with Ashoka, the world’s largest network of social innovators, to explore what we could do to support a more sustainable food system and what that could look like in UK and Ireland.
Our latest Stop Hunger newsletter is out and includes a feature from our Stop Hunger President Clodine Pincemin and the World Food Programme partnership. It highlights the importance of eradicating hunger worldwide by empowering women through education, training and financial support.
As we approach our Stop Hunger Day on 9th May 2017, we are encouraging our Sodexo employees to volunteer in their local communities over the summer.
We are very pleased to say that we had a hugely successful night of fundraising at our annual Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation Dinner. We marked the event with many of our key suppliers and partner organisations. The event was attended by over 460 people and raised £190,310.
