Presented in a new format, this year’s annual Stop Hunger report has been created to celebrate the Foundation’s successes, clearly demonstrating where our contributors have helped make a difference. With more than £450,000 raised across the 2020 financial year, this new document puts their support at the heart of the Foundation’s impact.

The global Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic continues to have a devastating impact on our communities and third sector organisations, including Stop Hunger’s charity partners. For the first time ever, the Foundation is asking Sodexo employees to help shape its future focus.

As the Foundation plans for the future, it is also important to consider the support our charity partners need right now. Last week we confirmed that four of our charity partners will receive a share of a £90,000 donation made by the global Stop Hunger Endowment Fund helping them in their continuing fight against hunger.

Congratulations to our 2020 Stop Hunger Award winners! In a slightly different award ceremony from the usual Sodexo Foundation Dinner, our Sodexo colleagues are recognised virtually in a video presentation.

Each year Volunteers’ Week gives us an opportunity to recognise those spending their time to support Stop Hunger, our charity partners and others truly changing the lives of the most vulnerable within our society.

The Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic has had a devastating effect on the third sector, with the cancellation of thousands of charity events and fundraising activities. The 2.6 Challenge is aiming to help combat these issues and the billions of lost income for the third sector. We are asking you to join in and help us make a difference.
