Tackling Holiday Hunger and Isolation with Street Games UK Fit&Fed

  • Social Impact

This summer we supported Street Games Fit&Fed a charity that holds summer programmes for children from low income families, to tackle holiday hunger, isolation and inactivity.

Our donation of £5,000 to Street Games Fit&Fed provided free summer holiday, food and activity programmes to more than 300 young people. These young people are from the most disadvantaged communities in the London boroughs of Bromley and Lewisham. With our support over 200 sport and pysical activity sessions took place and over 900 meals were served over the summer!

'My daughter is autistic and I find it hard over the holidays to give the children things to do, especially with money being short. This kind of project really helps a lot with the support needed for families like ours”
